I have 7K on my rear now and may buy a new one if I go on a long trip

I've had good mileage with Z6 on '96 Suzuki Bandit. Will seriously consider mounting on my '07 St when the Bridgestone wear out. By the way, how's the "steering" feel with the Z6. Is the front end more "nervous" ?

I have been running Avon Storms but I am going to try the Z6's this time round. I hope they feel as good as the Storms.

The Z-6 is the Bestest tire to run up front on a ST-1300 IMHO...

The Pilot Road II's are a near tie but,,, the Z-6 is a cheaper favorite for sure...

Rear Z-6???

I toasted it in 7,000 miles...

I ran a Z-6 front,,, ME 880 rear and got 12,000 miles out of them...

I am guessing the Pilot Road II's will get 10,000 - 12,000 maybe too... They are setting at 8,000 now...

Take note: he said Z6 Interact. These are not the same as a Z6. Last I heard there are no Z6 Interacts for the front in the states yet, only the rear. The Interact is a new dual compound tire.

Just have the Z6 interact on the rear. The front still has miles left on it. And it is a bridgestone the one that it came with. The Suzuki dealer in Cape Girardeau to me that he does'nt care what brand of motorcycle. He would try to beat the lowest price that i can find. He shot me 169.95 and keeping my price secret [174.40] and bring the bike in 25.00 for mounting and balancing. And with sells tax the grand total was 213.90. I thought it was cheap.

I paid $298 with tax, disposal fee, mounted & balanced - but for two Z6's.

You can't order from the website and the phone is busy a lot, but they were the best deal I could find and a bonus was they were local for me. They will ship nationwide.

Couldn't find the front Interact :(

I am very interested in where you bought the rear interact. I am trying to find them and hopefully the front also.
I look forward to testing the new technology.

I have been running the standard Z6's on my 1100 for 4 yrs and 45,000 miles. I have put 15,000 on each set;)... braking so that they wear evenly. I ride to the edges and wear the tire evenly. Best tire ever for the 1100 if you ride the edges.

The original Z6's are holding up well on the FJR, which is lighter than the ST. The front is looking really good, no cupping, etc. after 7,000 miles. The rear is squaring off due to much slab this past week, and had started to cup at about 5,000. It is almost down to the wear bars in the middle and I doubt it will last too much longer. They are great tires for sticking in anything. Looking forward to trying the Interacs next.

They have a rear in the Interact but not the front. No release date as of yet. I think sometime around Feb. INDY. Pirelli is pushing the Angel ST right now and their kind of like a young kid can't chew bubble gum and walk.

I'm hearing conflicting stories still about the compatiblity of the two Z6's together. F/R

I had a very long discussion with my parts rep about this today. We think the tire manu's are really trying to cover their butts with this "not approved" approach. You can bet as soon as I get someone on the phone that knows his butt for a hole in the ground I will post for you guys.

Answer about the Interact availability from Metzeler.
"Hello

The Roadtec Z6 Interact range is being expanded so the distributor is
adding the new part numbers and the tires should start arriving sometime
this winter. Please note the current Z6 tires for the bike should be in
stock at dealers incase you need them quicker. Have a great weekend."
