Has anyone experienced this? Until this weekend's ride, the tire was wearing mostly in the center. After my ride this weekend ride(Foothills Parkway to Deal's Gap to the Cherohala Parkway, and then the reverse). The tire and wheel are tight and mounted firmly - no play. :p:

Any ideas (besides "ride on the right side").

Any ideas are welcome.

Dale :D

Air pressure? Load? Looks like just an uneven wear pattern. We see this in Valkryies and VTX front tires. I think its time foe a PR2 you'll love it.

Because most roads are at an angle (to keep water from "sitting" on them), uneven wear can be expected.

Also, when a tire gets down that far, all bets are off for anything normal!:eek:4:

How many miles did you have on it?

Check the left side wheel bearings. Otherwise, mark it up to the crown in the road. I usually see that on the front tire, but only on ReSTored, not on STick.
