Looking at a Michilen Power rear tire to replace my BT020 that found a sharp object in the road. Anyone have experience with the Power? I'm just looking for something cheap and quick and this is what Cycle Gear has here in Houston. Thanks.

The power looks like a soft sport bike tire, and it will not last very long on the ST. I have a Pilot Road 2 on my 1300 and have 13,000 miles on it and will be able to get another 1000 out of it. If you need a tire right now, then it would work, if you have some time, I would get a sport touring tire that will last.

The side wall prolly isn't made for the weight. If it is all there was I would probably chance it.
Check out 2 bros. You might even have a PR2 tomorrow.

Another vote for the Michelin PR2. I had 2 sets of BT020's prior to this set of PR2's and will be using the Michelins from now on.

Thanks guys. I figured it was more of a sport tire and after more research I see it is. I posted this just for others people's thoughts about it. I wouldn't mind a tire that doesn't have the best wear rating because my front tire is going to need replacing by the end of the year and I would just replace both tires at the same time as I normally do. I was hoping to find a tire around town tomorrow so I didn't have to order and wait. Thanks again.
