Anybody have any experiance with this combo on a ST13?
My front Bridgestone didn't pass inspection this morning so I'm going to put on the PR2 I have at home and leave the BT020 on the rear for the time being.
Or should I change them both out?
The front BT020 has a little better than 7500 miles on it. I could probably get another +1000 or so miles out of the existing front (by my standards) but the guy wouldn't pass it this morning so I have to change out the front tire.
But the horn works! :)

I wouldn't worry about it.. I was running a PR2 front and Dunlop Roadsmart on the rear for the past 2-3k... I never have any issues with mixing brands.

Go to a different inspection station. :D

I run any combination front/rear, have even run a (correct size) rear on the front, Bridgestone BattleAx. Not for road racing, but got hell'a good mileage. :D

Save that used front for the next guy who comes thru and really needs one. (There's one in every crowd, it's usually Meeeeeeeeeeee!)

I ran a Avon Storm front with a PR2 rear for 2000+ miles and all seemed okay. Now they are matched up with PR2's. Unless these PR2's show something better down the road in wear and handling I'll be putting the Avons back on next time.

Hey George.
If you get to Baldwinsville by Sat. you can change out my tire have the old tire. Maybe cook us supper on the ST11 kitchen?
What a deal! :)
