Is there a difference between Michelin Pilot Road & Road 2 - or are they the same tire? Some sites that show the "Road 2" which seems to be higher that the sites that just say "Road".

Road has been replaced by the Road 2.
The difference is the PR 2 has dual compound. Harder in the center of the tire for wear, and softer on the sides for grip.

The Pilot Road is still being made, just not in the size you need for the front tire on an ST1300.

So I guess some places are still selling the Road - I just need to make sure it is the Road 2 -
Had no problems ordering a set of PR2's online from SW Moto back in late Nov.
