Motorcycle tow dolly, 1 up, 1 down.

Personally, I'd probably put a 125cc dirt bike on one of those, but certainly not an ST. And I most certainly would not use that product, based on the three 1-star reviews : )

*Put the rear wheel on a similar, more robust carrier.
 
I've towed several drive shaft bikes with one of those with the longest trip being Knoxville TN to Tampa FL around 650 miles. These bikes where GL650's and all was fine and my rig looks a lot more solid. However, I draw the line at a weight limit of around 550 lbs and the ST's are a bit much for that.

Re: the tranny not getting lubed - I considered over-filling the oil so the gears would be covered - and then draining the extra oil - but never did. Maybe with the front wheel higher the oil is sorta forced to the rear of the motor and gears.
