I don't have expierence with that particular mount but I do see a lot of them on sport bikes so I'm sure they work.

My stuff is on a dash shelf or mounted with a rammount though.

You can wire the power to the quartet harness by getting a 3-Pin hitachi connector and connecting it to the black 3-pin connector on the quartet harness where you have the choice of constant or switched power.

You can see the one I attached to mine in the thunmbnail. If you don't have the quartet harness I think I saw someone selling one on the site. They aren't that expensive though if you need to order one. There's an install article in the article section on putting one in.

The orange wire for mine install is constant to my GPS and the red is switched 12V. The last is ground.

It is becoming rapidly clear to me that I am in over my head regarding installation. All I know about lectricity is that the smoke must remain inside the wires. Now we are talking special harnesses and pins. I am lost big time.
Ok, I also bought a screamer to hear the warnings. Any thoughts on where this little bugger should be
installed? I need a guru to go, a paid pro installer. Either that or sell the V1 and ride the limit, gasp!

If you can plug in a toaster to the wall outlet and use zip ties you can install the quartet harness. If you have any of the electrical accessories installed from the dealer you already have the quartet harness on the bike.

You only have two wires for power. One positive, one negative. Crimp a pin on each and put it in the Hitachi connector that you need to buy and plug it into the quartet harness plug. Done.

I think some people mount the screamer behind the speaker grill inside the fairing.
