Here it is. Made from checker plate aluminium. Fitted first offer up from the plans on this site. Very sturdy. Next photo shows damage uncovered whilst doing the job. I could replace the centre cowl and also the right side upper fairing for about £150 but I’m not sure if it’s that neccasary. Does that inner cowl offer much protection from weather? Once it’s all buttoned up you can’t see the damage. Any thoughts?

Everything is waterproof under there so I wouldn't worry to much. You can smear some silicon behind the cracks to seal it if your worried.

Just spent 2 hours going through the site looking for a template someone posted to make an aluminium shelf for an ST1100. Does anyone remember this and the link please? I am trying to make up fittings for a Garmin Sat Nav.

Thanks Ray and ST1300A, that is exactly what I was looking for. Spent ages looking and searching, but no luck!! If I can't get anything else, then I will need to get fabricating!!
