The biggest problem I had with that Metz was there are no wear bars in the tread area right out of the box. So you have rubber one mile and the next you have steel showing.

that's why I may never use metz until they come up with a way to tell just how much is left!

There are wear bars on the sides but you have to be able to guage the center wear by looking closely at the tire and taking into account the amount it is squared off from a round profile. If you don't you get surprised with the Z6.
