Hi, I'd like to introduce myself. I just purchased a new-to-me 2005 ST1300 with 48K on the clock. It was very well kept by the 2 previous owners, so hopefully turns out to be a solid bike. I'm coming off a 1999 Harley Ultra Classic but owned several Honda's in my 45-year riding career. My Honda's included a 1978 CB750K and a1980 GL1100 I rescued from a barn and restored. I am retiring soon and wanted to get a sport touring bike that I could ride long distances comfortably. In many searches of many riding reviews, the Honda ST1100 and ST1300 seem to always come out on top over other bikes.
