The panniers are 65 litres combined volume which ain't too shabby and a decent shape too.
The shape would effectively be worth a few more litres I'd have thought. Nice and square.

Yes I was thinking the same thing. The NT1100 seems as good or better than what they are talking about with the new ST1100. Not sold in the US however.

More interweb wishes! I can't see Ma Honda trying to develop another Sport Tourer that would directly compete with the NT1100. They have become so conservative lately.
I too wish they would bring the NT to the US.

I rode the NT1100 for a test; while I'm sure it is an efficient motorcycle, it did not feel as solid or smooth as my 1300. It was certainly a lot lighter however.
