Hard to say
Last year I trucked my ST1300 to my in-laws in PA, to launch my trip to bike week in Daytona. It was a little icy in their driveway which also has a slight slope. We unloaded the bike and i put it on the side stand (not in gear) and.....it started rolling, sliding on the ice with the sidestand down the driveway. It rolled about six feet, turning ever so slowly, until the sidestand was on the uphill side and......it stopped. I swear the bike was laughing at me.

I always park it in GEAR! No matter where I park it ... in gear ... take up the slack ... then dismount ... seen too many bikes move after they were parked in neutral to ever be comfortable doing so again. A sudden breeze catches the windshield just right, a door opens from a parked car, an admirer wants a closer look ... these are ALL foreseen occurrences!
