Ok... sweat is starting to bead.... I done my valve check 2 weeks ago and I found 1left exhaust valve at its lower limit. I ordered a hotcams shim kit which will be here on Tuesday. In the mean time a made the cam tensioner tool to hold the tensioner back. Today is raining and cold so I removed the left plastic to try my new tool I made. It worked I wound the tool clockwise and it went on no problem. I removed the tool and the chain is still very loose. The manual says to remove the stopper tool.

Is there a secret to make the tensioner work?

Ok crisis diverted ... I took the slack up on the exhaust cam and the tensioner came tight against the chain.

I sleep tonight
