Used the schedule you all put together to organize what the PO of the new to me 2007 ABS STeed completed and what I needed to catch up on. The spreadsheet was a huge help! Thank you.

Completed the 32K and ordered rear brakes and an air filter to get the STeed back up to speed on PM's.

Looking ahead at a rough 36K(12k) service based on catching up with the adjusted service times (PO completed the 16k at 20k).

One thing I'm apprehensive of doing is the Valve Clearance inspection. They all measured within tolerance at 20,331 miles at a Honda dealer on Jan 2010. Not sure if I should complete it at the 16k interval (36k actual) or push it out a bit further as I've read that some of you have done. I'm conflicted. Suggestions based on the last measurements?

left intake, front to rear: 6, 6, 6, 5
left exhaust, front to rear: 10, 9, 11, 10
right intake , front to rear: 6, 5, 6, 7
right exhaust, front to rear: 11, 11, 10, 11

Thank you all in advance,
Chromy

No harm in checking them, it's pretty easy (on the 1100 at least). If they are all OK, then you're done until the next scheduled inspection. (In my limited experience, I reckon they'll be fine).

If you do find any that need adjusting, well, they need adjusting regardless of what the odometer reading is!

At least you'll know for yourself what the measurements are rather than relying on what a dealer claims to have measured.

Well, I just knocked out the valve clearance inspection at 41,177 miles. All valves were in spec. Nice to know they are gtg having done it myself.
The worksheet on this website is a must use.

left intake, front to rear: 5, 6, 6, 6
left exhaust, front to rear: 9, 10, 10, 9
right intake , front to rear: 5, 6, 6, 7
right exhaust, front to rear: 10, 10, 10, 11

Seems like it is getting better with age. : )
