Props to Avon Tyre and their warranty

In June I bought a set of Avon Storms from Honda of Jacksonville and 1600 miles later I holed the rear tire with a piece of bone 1/2" in diameter. I had to buy a OEM fitment BS 020 tire on the road to get home but HOJ filed a warranty claim on my behalf with Avon when I got back. It came in last week and today they mounted the replacement AV56. To my knowledge Avon is the only manufacturer with a road hazard warranty.

I guess I have a Bridgestone 020F 170/60-17 for sale that has about 600 miles use.

Sound like they really came though for you.

I currently have Avon Storms on my ST. Already have 7000 miles. I really like how they hold in the corners and do very well on wet pavement.

Yes, I like them too, this is the second set for me. Metzeler Z6's were my favorite handling tire but the Storms are very sticky, wear very evenly and probably are a better rain tire. I was going back to Metzelers after the summer but the Avon warranty has encouraged brand loyalty on my part. And they are great handling tires.

How much do you need? I need to finish the season and mine has hit the wear bars, front still looks fine. I will send PM.
