Looks like one more stop may have been too many..You got your money out of those. How many miles?

I've seen worse....

I sure hope you took the time/opportunity to clean the pistons before putting the new ones in... since they were exposed to the elements, just pushing them in with the new pads might cause issues ahead.

Just replaced them with the EBC Double H pads, part #: FA261HH pads.

Oh, come on, Andrew!! You have at least another 100 miles left on those!! :D:D:D:D

I've got to replace my fronts on the next tire change. But....the PR2 held up a lot better than I expected on this trip.... I'm hoping the pads last....

Did the rear on the last change.

Not sure how many miles are on the worn set. I bought the bike with 27k on it and its got 44k now. The fronts have about 1/3 of the pads still left so that replacement will wait for now.

Don't be too alarmed by that wear - unless your disks are worn some where the copper backplate will contact their rims before the pads runs out. It makes a noise and produces a 'feel' that says, 'replace or die'. A useful feature I have installed on Shadowfax.
