With exactly 8,000 miles on my GT's I haven't had any issues until now. The front tires are cupping in the exact same spot in the tread pattern, left & right. Tried to upload pics to show where they are. The rear is just starting to show the wear bars but I'm guessing I'm about 1,000 miles from them being at the surface. Can't say much bad about them except they're too hard to get on and off. The few times I rode in wet conditions there was never any problems. The next set will be PR3's. IMG_0923.JPG

Changed my Avons for BT023's and what a difference in the handling! The 65 KM head shake is gone, and they seem to grip well in the wet.
My ST1100 handles like a different bike; but I made a lot of other changes at the same time to the suspension and bars (see profile) when I put the tires on. As of now I highly recommend BT023 for the ST1100.

Just got back from a 4700 mile trip out West riding two up fully loaded. I put on a set of GT023s about 1000 miles before I left. I am very pleased so far with the handling, wear and quietness of them so far and it looks like a lot more life left in them after the 6000 miles so far. Have had Dunlops, 020 & 021 Stones and Avon Storm & Storm Ultras in the past and the new GT023s have my vote so far.
