Ahh… So sad. We became pretty good friends after WeSTOC in Baker City. We were encouraging each other to maintain our fitness workouts and weight reduction. What a genuinely nice guy. I was hoping for a long friendship. Hadn’t texted with him in a while with the disruption in life that COVID has brought. Oh Man …

Only just read this, like everyone has said, way too soon and all down to that blummin bug.
Condolences to all his family and friends. Hoping there's a ride for you in heaven big lad.

I'm sad to say that my friend Jim Medak (STOC #892) has passed away from COVID-19. Jim was 54. His partner Julie phoned with the news.

"Part of the ST cult since before I bought my first Silver 1991 waaay back in 1996," Jim claimed in his Profile, he now claims a place in our memories.

Rest In Peace, Gymbo.
