Sadly, Vince passed away at 2am this morning after a long and grueling battle with cancer. He roped me into, and I had blast, hosting WeSTOC Fortuna. He was my best riding buddy and I will miss him terribly.

Please send healing thoughts out to his wife Leann and his family.

Thanks MTrider for letting us know.
I remember I rode with both of you at Westoc in Spokane. Chased his speedy little butt down the east side of Lake Courdelene. Good rider, will be missed by many I am sure.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
RIP Vince.

I did not know Vince, but from reading the comments it is obvious he was a great guy who had the passion we all share. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP.

So very sad to hear this - I've ridden with Vince several times, though it has been awhile - I remember some years ago he used to ride on a Yamaha Venture with his little dog sitting in a saddle bag without the lid on it. A great guy -

It was an Honor to be chosen as the one he trusted to work on his ST's.
I'll see you in the next life.

RIP Vince.
My condolences go out to family and friends. Vince was a very welcoming rider for me at my first Westoc in Spokane! I was chasing both him and Todd C along the eastern shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Great guy, So sad!

From Vince's facebook page via his sister Greta:

Funeral Arrangements: Vince's Wake will be held this Thursday, December 26, 2019, from 4-8 p.m. at Oakmont Funeral Home, 2099 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette, CA 94549. We are asking that you wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or motorcycle gear or something similar in honor of Vince. As requested by Vince, we will be having a taco bar, soda, tea, margaritas, and dessert. You will also have the opportunity to stand up and tell your favorite story of Vince. Please RSVP if you plan on attending and tell us the number in your party so that we can get an approximate count for the catering. In lieu of flowers, Vince has requested you make donations to Fix Our Ferals at https://fixourferals.org/ or Berkeley Humane at https://berkeleyhumane.org/

It breaks my heart but I can't make it. However, there will be a memorial event planned for sometime this summer.
