In editing terms, I'm early July and about a week away from the start of Rolling RockSToc. I just was getting back on the island and thought I had better do a pre-check of the first road I was going to take people down.

That is a great ride. I did it while waiting to board the ferry back to NS. They where having a little gathering up at the lighthouse, a band, food and of course beautiful views.

Port aux Basque, Isle aux Mort and Burnt Islands got hit pretty bad. Rose Blanche not so much from what I heard. I'm sure it was wild arounf the lighthouse. I don't know anyone who got photos down that way. I did a tour of Port aux Basques in October on my way back home. Pretty well cleaned up and I missed the hardest hit section of town. It will take years for some people to recover if at all.
