I got a message from Christopher today saying that the Sunday before last (may 3rd?) he had a lady make a left turn in front of him, and then stopped in his path. He broke his collar bone and a rib. Needless to say the bike was wrecked.

So add Christopher in your prayers!

Sounds like it could have been a lot worse... heal up quickly and take your time.

Dang. That exact accident happens entirely too often! :( Best wishes for a full and fast recovery, Christopher!

Sounds like the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Prayers sent, hope Chris heals quickly.
At least you have enough spares to rebuild the bike .

I hope he recovers soon. My wife and my son both have motorcycles. Sometimes I feel lucky to have them ride with me and other times it just scares me.

Hope he heals quickly and he probably will since he's much younger than most of us old farts!

Get better soon Christopher. As others have commented, it could have been a lot worse. I broke my collarbone many years ago, so can relate a bit.
