Hello,

I'm new to the ST (purchased in June). I've done a ton of maintenance so far, but have never removed the rear wheel on a motorcycle before. I just got my new tires delivered and need to remove the wheels to deliver to the local shop for installation.

I have the shop manual, and it looks straight forward. I also have the moly paste too. So when I pull the rear wheel, what other components should be evaluated or examined besides the wheel bearings and splines?

Those are the main 2 things but while the wheels are off it won't hurt to clean the brakes, this is for the rear but the fronts are somewhat similar:

Thanks Mellow! Looks like a good Idea. I have a feeling I'll need new pads for the next tire change, but cleaning the pistons makes sense.
