I was thinking as I replied to another member heres acheivment of 100,000 miles. Out of all the riders in the developed countries, how many motorcyclists do you think have ever rolled 100,000 on a single bike?

I know on this and a select few other BBS's it's not so rare to hit 50,000, 100,000 and even 400,000 miles (Valkyrie that I know about) on a single bike. But I would guess with the modern "Bikers" we all see every sunday 100,000 miles is not that common.

I'd guess those of us who have hit 100,000 on a single bike are in an unusual type of 1% club. I've done it once and hopefully in another 6 months or so bike number 2 will happen.

So what percebtage do you think and have you done it once or more?

Today I just hit 100,000 miles on my 06 St1300. Have done it on 1 other bike, my 92 Yamaha Venture Royale. Sold it with 163,000 miles. But I have logged just under 500,000 documented miles on bikes. Hoping to hit the 500K this year.

Just hit 100,000 of my own miles on lipSTick on the way to Spearfish two weeks ago... That's the third ST on which I've done it,,, hoping to roll 200K on STick pretty soon, only need 21K more for that milestone. :D

I have never personally done it, but when I worked at the Honda Dealer, I saw numerous Gold Wings that had more than 100k on the clock.
