Hi All,

The lay on the ground spin the back tire with the foot and actuate the SMC with your hand test did not go well with my new to me 2006 that I have had to put way to much money and time into since I bought it 3 weeks ago. Tires, battery, all fluids, $275 worth of hardware, $300 worth of brake parts, etc….wow. Anyway, the SMC was completely corroded and the plunger was galled to the housing. It took a punch and a hammer to move it. I have a whole new assembly on the way, but I was going to rebuild the old one as a spare, but the cylinder walls are too damaged.

Here are a couple photos.

All the best,
Ray

Ray, you may want to call me on the white courtesy phone and chat a bit because your probably gonna need a couple other parts.
When your SMC went south, it takes a few other things with it.
I might be able to save you some time, money, and frustration.
Standing by.
