A little preventive maintenance would have avoided that easily... ;)
True but that particular little valve was outside my maintenance capabilities , however I appreciate all the help I've received on this forum, regarding said issue, so I'm definately learning

I knew, well, not a lot about these originally- I’m in no way as qualified as many here but the site has been EXTREMELY helpful in getting a lot of the work I’ve done to my 2 bikes completed. Compared to a lot of the more ‘computerized’ bikes out there, the ST1100 is fairly easy to learn how to repair.

Yes I enjoy pulling things to bits, feel a sense of achievement when she's fixed again, swing arm coming off next in a few month
