The Symtec rocker switch has decided to not budge. Company got a new one out to me in a few days, no charge, great service.
Just curious ... might there be a way to free up the frozen one? I don't think it can be opened up. Maybe some squirts of something hoping it would work its way in, and allow the switch to again 'rock'?

Sure. Just send it to me, along with its mate. I'll let you know what it took to make them work on my bike.

Those are commonly available switches... toss the old one, contacts are probably toast or pivots worn/rusty. Not worth it for a coupla bucks.

You can pry the rocker out of the housing... just do it under a towel (after figuring where to insert small screwdriver) because small springs and contact metal pieces will possibly go flying.

You could try spraying some plastic-safe contact cleaner followed by some dry silicone spray. If that doesn't free it up then there's probably a mechanical bit that broke.

Unless some decent debris got wedged in somehow even a dirty switch should move however reluctantly. Spray and pray. If that doesn't work bin it.
