After 10 years of ownership, I have finally traded in the ST1100 for a new Triumph Bonneville. The reason is that is just felt too heavy especially the way I had to get it out of the garden and me becoming more and more riddled with the old rheumatoid arthritis. What a bike it's been, with minimal maintenance, it started on the button first time every time. It's easy to see why there is such an enthusiastic folowing. Someone somewhere will get a good bike that returns 50 odd MPG. Whenever I had issues, they were dealt with by doing a search on this forum and sure enough, the answer was there, so a big thank you for that. I wish you all well. Stay safe and get vaccinated.

Best regards

Paul

I think you'll like it. I had a water-cooled T100 that I bought new and put about 8k miles on over a few years of owning it. I just didn't use it that much with all the carrying capacity available with the ST so I let it go. But it sure is/was a pretty bike.
