Throttle Body Removal (Easy) ST1300

[U-Turn]

I used 6-inch C-clamps. With very little pressure from the clamps the throttle body popped right up. I braced the clamps with what I had on hand, a 2x4 and a pipe, but a couple of 1x4 boards would probably work out better. The attached photo was taken afterwards but it still shows the position of the clamps.

This was easy and gentle on the throttle body. Oh and took less than five minutes once I found my rusty clamps.

For critters looking to keep warm the ST is definitely the right bike.

Great to have a photo of the method, I'll be using the G clamps tip next time I'm in there...

It seems strange that we don't get mice etc. nesting in our bikes over here, as far as I know!
