Major props for his ingenuity but there's still a lot of shaky shade tree amongst the mad-skillz fabbing. Lots of great work making various bits but for me the sum was less than the whole of the parts.
The end result does have a better fit and finish than I expected given what appears as more guess and by golly than meticulous planning and execution. No marks for design but if he's happy then I'm ok.
He seems like a great guy and the presentation is many levels above many "polished" YTers.
