I mounted a rear view camera above my garmin. Works well, good sun viz. Something else to look at when you get bored with your dashboard. Camera is mounted below top box panel. I hope the photo uploaded here. Very inexpensive farkle $14. Not really needed gives same view as mirrors. (Display is showing derailer in mountain bike hanging on wall.)

When lane splitting, something like that would come in very handy! From the mirrors, it's hard to see a bike right behind you if they get too close.

A handy feature that would give some purpose to a rearview camera would be a one or two hour loop at 720p/60fps and the ability to snap a pic. A couple of dash cams pointed fore and aft would do it.
For $14 that's a nice little farkle. Mounted on the ST's dash and used with a modicum of caution it be very handy. Would you post a link?

The camera does come in handy for "creepers" at a stop light. And when you do back up you don't run into something unwanted. I must add, I have the pull back bars helli riser which are a good mounting base for the "stick-on" base.

Also, I cover the screen with a sandwich bag when washing. Camera does not seem weather proof at all. The screen is a circuit board covered in a flimsy plastic case. Camera is sealed well. It is designed to be out side of the vehicle.

Google rearview backup up camera 4.3tf t lcd. Keep checking ebay prices come way down. They are up today. They do sell the monitor separately. Get the whole kit. It's really not worth more than $20. I can't get the link to copy.
