Valve Clearance progress

While the STead is on the lift, pending a trip to the shop for a new water pump, I checked the valve clearances. I thought I would post the results of the checks to date. Ashamedly, I havent done them on schedule. In 56K+ miles, I've checked them twice. They are still within spec, but most have tightened up .001". Maybe when she turns over 100K, I might have to actually change a shim. :

Yeah, I know that. But it's covered under warranty, so what the hey, may as well let them do it. The shop cant muff it up too badly. :roll:

Hopefully they know what they are doing. A lot of dealers don't....:biker:
