What brand Dot 4 brake fluid do you use.

I will replace my pads next week and I need to know if there is a difference in brands of Dot 4. I live in a small town so I may need to settle for what ever my local auto parts stocks.

My personal opinion is it doesn't matter, just has to be Dot 4.. that's it. Buy what's on sale.

Last time I used a quart sized bottle of fully synthetic DOT 4 (Prestone IIRC)...better value than ma' Honda.

If you want to research the different DOT 4 clutch/brake fluids do some searches.
I found there were differences by brand and that all of the ones that said "DOT 4" met the requirements of "DOT 4".

So...DOT 4 is DOT 4 and you can find ways to spend lots for DOT 4.
