wont start. push button. dunk dunk. all she does

just did the carbs. left side in between the carbs has a drip. anyone know what it may be. strong smell of gas. one of the carbs is obviously dripping. any idea why it is dripping

think alt may be bad. just ran fine the other day. now went to start it turned the key dunk dunk. have lights and all just wont start

Hydro-Locked!! Remove your plugs and hit your starter button. Watch out for fuel that is going to come shooting out of the cylinder. Fix that leax before going any further and do not continue hitting your starter with your plugs in because you can do real bad things inside of your engine. Best of luck.

Sorry for the delay. The key here is the dripping gas that has filled up at least one of your cylinders. Liquid will not compress. The sound you are hearing is the crank starting and being stopped with force.

Problem solved hopefully. Gas cap not venting properly pushed fuel into bowl and then into cylinder. Removed plugs and watched shooting fuel out from cylinder. Thanks again to all of your help and special thanks to juddspaintballs for an In-person visit to remedy the problem
