i have the dual powerlet installed on the left side by the shock adjustment knob and have a gerbing jacket liner and gloves using a permanent mounted controller. so, i will just plug both cords (gloves and jacket liner) into the dual powerlet. however, i noticed that i do not have enough cord to reach the dual powerlet and need to order extensions. i am sure others have had to do the same thing. which length extension did you get? did you think it was sufficient or wish you had less or more? they have the extensions in 8", 12" then 24".

thanx for your input.

You knew you were going to get at least one smart ... answer right?
Consider this as that smart ... answer: How far do you want to ride? :)

Seriously...
I agree but in addition I would want to stand beside the bike to connect.
You might want to figure it out with a string tied to the outlet and stretched to where you'll be standing when you want to plugin.

Are you buying a coiled extension? If so the string will only tell you the length of the needed stretched length.

Good luck,
Mark

If extensions with coiled cords are an option, try that. I have one for my Autocom headest, and it's always the right length without being in the way.
