Please Pray For Quinn Josephine

We had a check up with Quinn's gastrointestinal doctor today. Everything went well. She weighs 21lbs 8oz. She gained almost a pound in a month, even with not eating much for 2 weeks when she was sick. Her liver labs look good, one lab is slightly elevated but it always has been. Poor girl got poked twice to get her labs, it took 4 people to hold her and do the pokes, she is feisty one. I felt really bad so since she really likes stuffed animals, she got a little stuffed sea turtle. Her doctor said she is very happy with how she is doing and decreased her tube feedings again, she is doing really well with eating and will even let us help her eat once in awhile. She is turning into such a spit fire. I'm pretty sure she makes her brother cry a few times a day. She can really hold her own against a four year old. Oh and Kolbe turned 4 yesterday!

I pray everything continues to get better for Quinn. I reread the thread and her weight is really up! Good news, let it continue.

Ok I had a great Turkey Day...

Saw some of Quinn's doctors today. Everything is still the same with her heart and he will see her in 6 months. Her surgeon changed out her tube and hopes that when he sees her again in 6 months we will be taking about taking her tube out! He also said he thinks she will be one of the ones to make it without a liver transplant. That gives me so much hope!

Wow Dan, that is uplifting news, to say the least! May the positive energy being sent Quinn's way from so many make "no liver transplant" a certainty!

Wow Sir,
What a long, and glorious, journey that photo represents. From 5 hours on the operating table in June of 2013 and days of Bili lights in the ICU to the no-hands hangin' ten, on top of a kiddie car !!
Thank you for allowing us all to be part of this life by sharing our prayers and support for you and your family.
My continued best,
Randy

Wonderful, thanks be to God! It only takes a moment looking into the eyes of such a bright-eyed and determined child, watching them grow and live their life with gusto unawares of the odds they beat, to be thankful and to put my 'troubles' into perspective. But you know that by now. :). Merry Christmas Dan and Lori.
