Looks like the Suzuki GSXRXSRSX1000GTRXR, BMW M1000RR and the Kawi 1000 Versys are getting some competition in the category? Okay, I'll throw in the Yamaha Tracer 09 too.

This will redirect my new bike urges away from the NT1100 for a minute or three... Luggage. please?

Jeez, Honda needs to hire an Italian design studio. Dunno who is doing styling on there recent bikes, but it's meh....like a refrigerator.
At least the competitor Suzuki GSX1000GT looks sharp.

Could be more useful than the retro CB1000F even if it's not as good looking. Thankfully it's not another "tall tourer' half breed Adventure bike! I would think there would be luggage for it pretty quick. Looks to be modern version of the wicked cool bike RaYzerman has that never made it south from Canada

This. I realize not everyone has the same preferences regarding aesthetics but I'm shocked and disappointed. Maybe I shouldn't be shocked but the CB designation fooled me. I don't for see this "growing on me" at all.

It drives my eyes even closer to the NT1100. I wasn't keen on its look initially but I didn't dislike it. Now it has grown on me.

Same old 'mad bird' look with a little Telsa tossed in .. ;)
You say that like it’s a bad thing. Styles change although some of us are still into white socks and penny loafers - and that’s OK no judgment…..

It is to me - and what's wrong with white socks and penny loafers?
They seemed to have worked pretty well for quite a while ... ;)
Styles change but that doesn't mean they get better looking!
Change for the sake of change is not necessarily a good thing.

I guess to some folks crocs without socks are better than penny loafers with white socks ... ;)
I'm afraid (to borrow a bit from Joe Walsh) I'm just an 'Anti-Angular' Man in a 'Delineated' World.

I think the bike looks much better than the transformers from the other Japanese manufacturers. Most of all it has headlight(s) that are visible to other cars. I sold my Yamaha MT-10SP because between the mini LED headlight and transformer/stealth styling I was invisible to cars. I was cut off at least 5 times more on that bike than any other and because of it I would never own another bike with mini LED type headlights.

Styles change. Some for the better some not so much so. It's all a matter of personal preference. That's why there're retro bikes and transformer bikes and even a few good looking bikes

I rented the old CBF1000F several times for my Alps tours when it was a current year model. It was detuned to approx. 100 - 105 HP but with a significant torque increase. Back then Honda considered it a basic bike at a reasonable price. Magazine reviewers thought it performed better than its specs would indicate. I thought so too. It handled pretty good, was comfortable and had plenty of speed. The rental bikes included the side cases and top case. It never came to the USA. I know the upcoming GT is a different bike but I'm looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in person (if it comes to the USA).

This reminds me of something that I can't quite put my finger on
