GOOOOOOOD morning everyone

I hope you made good use of your digital detox time as @Mellow strove to improve our community. Now we're back and there's freshly brewed French roast coffee in the pot to mark the occasion.

It's 33°F in Rockville, where we're receiving a "wintry mix" which is weatherperson-speak for "ick of the wet and partially frozen variety". Later on we'll top out at a whopping 37 degrees with the ick persisting until late afternoon. On the upside, we've only 19 days to endure before the winter solstice.

I'm meeting a longtime friend for lunch today. Other than that, I've got squat, diddly, and nada planned. Unlike yesterday, when I never actually changed out of my PJs, I suppose I'll have to get dressed today since I'm leaving the house. Oh, the horror.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thanks Keith, but I've given up on coffee.

-6C here and dark, headed to +1. Our weather system is supposed to start this afternoon with a possible foot or more of snow and 60-80kph winds. Guess the bike's officially away.

Hope everyone has a great day and on the plus side, someone gets my cup worth of the joe.

Enjoy!

Obo.

Any attempts of making it through the day without it would simply be reckless... :coffee:

G'Day...

2°/3°C, overcast, fog, drizzle, chances of a few snowflakes swirling... awfully ghastly...

You'll see a lot of these imbeciles swerving around, so beware...

still running on Nespresso and Nescafé... :coffee:

GF is off crutches, limping, a bit wobbly, frustrated over the slow progress and that the earliest slot for official physio/reha isn't before end of February...
(yeah, we autochthonous have to pay hefty charges for the NHS through our entire lifetime, but dare we'd need something...)

Office, calm, with only a few, random escalations...

Have a good one!

Good morning all!
Wow!
It’s good to see the page open!
Thank you Mello!
I’m not sure what happened, or why, but I’m appreciative of it appearing back on line!

My bad!
Thanks for today’s start men!
My Spyder didn’t make it on the load that went into storage, some lazy individual left it too long and snow took over the landscape!
We have about 6-7” of the stuff!

Good morning everyone, and welcome back! Kudos to Joe for all his hard work to get us back up and running! Thanks for the coffee, Keith - I'll have a cup and Obo's portion too, if you don't mind!

When we got that wintry wallop early last month, we thought it was just "the first snowfall" and probably wouldn't hang around. Oh, how wrong we were! Winter stormed in and stayed. And since we've been on 'hiatus,' it has gotten very chilly indeed. Today's temps will range from the current 19°C/-7°F to -4°C/25°F with accompanying feels-likes of -11°C/12°F to -8°C/18°F. We'll have overcast skies all day, and snow from 10 am-ish to 4 pm-ish. I'll have my nose to the grindstone, as I have 5 dense and insanely badly written engineering documents to translate into legible English and deliver, 2 of them by end of business today.

OK, gotta fly. Everybody have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Maybe I should just move south. I don’t like this view out of my garage.

It’s just wrong for a household with two motorcycles.
That reminds me, might need to mow this weekend.... :giggle-2x:

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.
And thanks to Mellow for the work it took to move the site.

It's overcast and 28 in MA this morning. The crap that Keith is experiencing will be here this morning in the form of rain, freezing rain and snow. By the time it's over, we'll see 1-3", while those north and west will get around 6-ish. Ski areas up there will get some free snow.
High temp will be around 34.

I used the down-time to do a lot of nothing. The Wing's in the shed, we had Thanksgiving with the other Grands, relatives, and friends.
Went back to the gym, yesterday, and had some range time.

Today, I'll try for some more gym time, bring my skis downstairs, and find my other gear.
I've been threatening to rearrainge some shelving in order to mount a TV, so that might happen.
Today's also "First Tuesday", and I'll see if I can make it to the gathering of ex-Bose-os.

@Whisker Bill, how is Miss Judy doing?

Have a great day,
Steve

Mornin’ y’all. Thanks, for the coffee, Keith. It’s good to see everyone back.

33/37 for today’s numbers, after an onernight wintery mix that has everything covered in a thin layer of slush.

That reminds me, might need to mow this weekend.... :giggle-2x:

I had the same thoughts. You probably need to mow this weekend. :giggle-2x:

Welcome back and good morning everyone. Just finished blowing the drive. It's too steep for a 2 wd car unless I get it down to bare concrete. Once over with the big Honda, then again with a tiny Toro Powerlite single stage that scrubs everything off to the pavement. This is my 1 hour winter workout - it keeps me young.

Going to visit one of our Guzzi club guys today with another riding buddy. He recently went into assisted living, dementia issues. He will talk coherently and then it all goes to pot - gibberish. I haven't seen him in more than a month. Not going to be a happy day.

What the hell is that funny looking contraption beside the bike? It's a little early to till the garden.
Mike
It's on a plastic sheet... that's not good.. I think it's gonna be taken out!!

Goooooood morning from SoMD! Looks like everyone's been itching to get back in here after Joe's massive efforts. I'll buy a cup of Joe for, uh, Joe! We hit a low of 28F/-2C but warmed up to 35F before the rain came. Crappy commute as a result but saved from the using the shovel...this time.

Holiday was good with just the spawn coming over to eat my food then disappear. But the son did come back up to pick up his motorcycle to get it back working again. Was fun trying to run it up ramps with one stuck front brake. And he got a free TV I salvaged.

In office today then rehearsal tonight.

Oh, surely not!

Did you switch to bourbon, rye, scotch, Irish, or straight rotgut hooch?
Does this mean we'll have a new whiskey club to peruse/waste time?

Take care y'all!

Morning Keith & All from overcast skies in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 29F, up from 19F and heading for 45F. A slight breeze now, but later the winds will be out of the SSW @ 7 to 8mph.

Thank you Joe, for the hard work on getting the site back and running! Hopefully, this will help you, not having to spend all the extra time fighting with the old host system! :pray1:

What a week! My son, Aaron and family came down for Turkey. It was good to see them and even good when they left!
While he was here, I took advantage and drug him over to the local sporting goods store where I could pick his brain on a nice 9mm. :unsure-2x:

No range time yet. :sneaky:

Then on Saturday, I was informed that my aunt had passed away. She had turned 100, at the end of August. So we'll be heading up to Northern Utah on Monday, for her funeral. She was always a fun person to be around.

Today, I'll be pulling out the Christmas stuff, so Chris can decorate the house, while I decorate the front yard. :hat1::hat2::hat3::hat4:

Chris is still in bed, so we'll have something to eat soon. Pepsi will be for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
