If you think I'm short-fused...
you should see me without coffee... :coffee:

So, only because some laboratory worker misplaced a comma,
generations of toddlers and kids got tortured with that green, slimy mush... 😖
(today you're supposed to celebrate with a large dish of spinach served with roasted potatoes and fried eggs... ;))

BTW godspeed to the crew of Artemis II... lets hope they'll get that crapper fixed...

3°/11°C, gray, overcast, still dry, but looking like massive downpour happening any second...

Still way too early due that dreaded DLST... 🥱
Sipped my Nespresso :coffee:, then struggled to get ze GF out of bed... who's still fully out in the morning 😴

fired up my trusty Toyota, commute, still low traffic (Easter Holidays)...
workplace, dark and abandoned... thankful for the silence I slurped my Nescafé... ☕

So, you hang in there, tomorrow is Friday! 😎

Thx Martin!

5Ëšc/41f, sunny, 45mph cooold wnd from north.

Public holiday over here, all quiet.
There will be some cooking, probably making pizza in the Weber grill, if I can find a spot with less wind…

Have a good one!

Mornin’ y’all. Thanks for the start Martin. Your spinach remark reminded me that it’s springtime, and time to cook up a mess of Polk salad with boiled eggs.

63/81, mostly cloudy and as windy as the Baptist bean supper. Steady winds of 25 with gusts to 35.

Both, the dog and I, had a fitful night, trying to find some deep sleep. Must have been the moon.

John

Good morning and thanks for the coffee , Martin.

It's 34, rising to 38, later. It's cloudy now, but we're told to expect rain through this afternoon.

Yesterday, we spent the day indoors, mostly.
I got a call from my VA doctor, telling me that they'd sent required information to the ortho folks. Hopefully, I'll hear from them, today.

Today's plan is for more downtime, waiting.

On the cat front, they're still a bit skittish, but becoming less so. They're most active morning and night. I actually had Laguna on my lap a few minutes ago!
Kailua's safe space is still under the recliner, but the others are out and about. Even she, though, was resting on the seat, last night.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Thanks for instigating the coffee, Martin. I'm good with instigating some things.
Chances for rain were slightly exaggerated yesterday, so I left Kaiser at home... but I rode home through a brief rain storm, and I wet my pants. The Aerostich Roadcrafter jacket (bought used in like-new condition, as is most of my riding gear) kept me dry from the waist up.
Roz is tired of waiting for me to cut the back yard, and paid a high school kid 50 bucks to mow it, and it still looks like crap.
My mower parts are still on order for the Toro... drive cable, belt to turn the blades, air filter.
And a friend gave me his used 16in chainsaw he no longer uses. It's a good size for lots of the smaller downed limbs in the brush piles, where my 20in is overkill.
Meanwhile, more work projects, gotta go.
I'll catch y'all later, somewhere around here.
Enjoy the day.
Or just fake it.

Morning all! Sun with cloud cover here. 6C with a predicted high of 12C.

First day back in the office in about 3 weeks. Feels weird. Tomorrow is a holiday so it probably would have made more sense to work from home today but I was getting cabin fever and needed a change of scenery.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Martin & All from mostly sunny, but :wind1: in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 55F, up from 44F and heading for 61F. The winds are blowing from the SSW @ 17 to 25mph. Later, from the WSW @ 28 to 41mph.

Chris and I got home from the trip to hell and back, last night, just after 1AM. Due to FIL, we took Chris's Highlander, instead of my Tacoma. Let's just say, plans were changed 50 times within two days, and by the time we had our dental appts yesterday, we were ready to leave and come home. So we did! Which I'm glad we did. Any more of the garbage from FIL, ...let's don't go there! :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:

And I just got word from my brother, one of our BILs is now in Hospice. It's a shame, but he's been suffering for a long time with Parkinson's. And since our mom passed away, my brother, nor I, having anything to do with our sisters. So, my brother found out from one of his sons, off of Facebook. Great family relations!

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the LATE morning for us. Pepsi(s) will be had later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good afternoon everyone

Thanks for the start, Martin. I'm late to this pot, but not coffee in general, today. It's been an active one.

After breakfast we headed down to the National Zoo for a few hours, getting back home around 1300 hours for lunch. Following that I went to Lowe's to get replacement parts for the toilet in the guest bathroom, after determining late yesterday evening that it kept running because the float-activated shutoff valve had failed and that the flipper lever also needed renewal.

With the required parts obtained it took just a few minutes to do the swap, and all now appears to be well.

I'll spend time this afternoon making small adjustments to the second ukulele I made last year. It's never been quite right, and with the helpful guidance of my brother I know what needs to be done.

After that we'll all head for Indian food for dinner, and probably call it an early night since we need to head for the airport early tomorrow morning.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.
