Helmets New Helmet on the market

Hi folks,

This is the new Shark evoline helmet which is dual purpose and would seem to be right up there for the touring market, but as they say see what you think for yourself. I will prob be investing in one very shortly myself if i can find a suitable colour that i like.

Overall I like the design however here in Florida the lack of venting at the top of the helmet could be a huge issue. I'm also not crazy at all about any of the color choices. No blues, reds or even white is offered.
 
I like the fact the chin mechanism is on the outside the helmet. I like the inside sun visor. I don't know how well it is vented or what the noise level will be like but it has my interest.

Any idea when they'll be available in the US. I can't find any dealers here that have them yet. This looks like a great lid.

They havent hit the shelves here yet but as far as i know they are due for january in the dealerships, id say they will be available everywhere at that point but if they are not i will post links to some good mail order sites for bike gear.
 
Nice but seems to come only in solid colors... And with the added mechanisms for both visor and chin bar, how heavy will the helmet weigh? Hmmmmhhhh....
 
I think I'll stick with my HJCs. Cheap, functional, look okay in my book.
 
I think I am going to wait for the Scorpion exo-1000. Has an integrated sun visor and it looks to be vented better.

Ooh - I think I want one :bow1:

I have a Shark RSR and I'm really impressed with the build. This looks to have some very nice features that I'd like to try.

Now, where do I get one :hamburger
