get rid of that vac shut valve. ..fuel pump will act the same way, works when it wants. did it stall after going from hot to a cooler climate?Runs great! Must have grabbed a gulp of dirty gas. New filter is in and working well
Not at all. Still feels a bit underpoweredget rid of that vac shut valve. ..fuel pump will act the same way, works when it wants. did it stall after going from hot to a cooler climate?
fueling issues will have a loss of power. If you can do a wide open throttle from 3dr to 4th gear with out it cutting out your fuel is not an issue. Sometime after riding long ways it get on your mind and think something's wrong when it's not. personal experience. don't forget when your in higher altitude it will be underpowered. ST1100 don't like anything above sea level .Not at all. Still feels a bit underpowered
Glad you were able to get her rolling again, Mike! And, GREAT improvisation skills! Ride safe, and I am looking forward to eating some ribs and hearing about how beautiful riding in Colorado is when you come back through Oklahoma!Runs great! Must have grabbed a gulp of dirty gas. New filter is in and working well
If you're not sure you want to get rid of it, just bypass it and see what happens. It's a 10 minute job once you get the plastic off. Don't forget to plug the vacuum hose. I use one of the little mounting screws. Screw it into the hose.get rid of that vac shut valve. ..fuel pump will act the same way, works when it wants. did it stall after going from hot to a cooler climate?
