I don’t have a coffee problem.
I have a “mornings exists” problem... :coffee:

G'Day... or not...

11°/23°C, mostly sunny throughout the day... and the rest of the week... ☀️
And of course have they issued a 'heatwave warning' over that... pfffff...

home and office caffeinated... :coffee:
But: will this be enough?

w/e was nice though...
Friday I mobilized the ol' '94 ST, running smooth with those "hot cams" (EC spec)
Sat & Sun at ze GF's place... relaxing... 😇
Saturday evening we sat on the terrace, observing a squadron of 3 "Igors" 🦇 maneuvering closely over our heads,
zig-zagging, barrel-rolls... yeah, go and feast on those nasty mosquitos!... ;)

now: back in the mine... meh... 😖

go gentle into this new week... 😎

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin. Your mention of bats reminds me that I need to build some bat boxes and put them up in the teres around our place.

It's 65°F, very humid, and clear in Rockville. The sun will rise at 0542 and shine without interruption by clouds until it sets at 2036; the high temperature will be just 76. Woo woo woo!

Monday = Old Guy Goof in the morning, summat or other in the afternoon.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the magic elixir, Martin.

Cooler today. 61/78 and clear. Looks like a dog wash and lawn mowing are on the slate for today.

I quit feeding my songbirds, so I hope the two hawks will find a different hunting ground. It’s disheartening to fatten up the Finches, and watch them devoured by a hawk.

John

Morning all, and thanks for the startup Martin.

New construction is fine, but where to you get the guano?

14 and cloudy, headed to 20 and rain.

I have to take some time off work so the person who flew in to purchase my antique car can get it inspected at a local mechanic. I didn't find this relevant bit of info out until he was leaving my place yesterday afternoon. It would of been handy to have discussed this in advance....

Hope everyone has a great day.

Obo.

Well Martin, thanks for keeping the days straight for us. Obviously I failed to do the same Friday evening, when I showed up for the worship team dinner 24 hours early.
(Oh. I didn't mention that before?)
But I arrived on time at the correct Saturday evening, because I already knew exactly where the restaurant was... probably due to my pre-emptive scouting expedition the night before, when some may have suspected I actually got my days confused.
I didn't know folks actually built bat houses, but I reckon that's better than having them in YOUR house.
Anyone ever seen a picture of Obo's old car? I may have, but don't remember.
Hard to believe I'm posting before coffee this morning, but I have lots to do so I'm trying to get a head start. Black ⚫️ Rifle should be waiting for me by now.
It's cooler here this morning too, after the showers last night, and may not get past the low 80s.
Coffee's calling from the kitchen, enjoy your weekstart.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 68 and cloudy in MA this morning, heading to 77 and becoming partly cloudy.

Yesterday was spent mostly traveling from NY to home, after hanging out with our daughter and SIL.
The neice's family left earlier, since the forecast thunderstorms arrived a bit earlier in the morning than expected.
On the way home, we stopped at our local Chinese place for dinner.
The cats were pleased to see us back.

Today, I've got no real plans.
Probably pack for our next trip, up North to Loudon on Wednesday.
The gym is a possibility, as well.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good Morning, thanks Martin for starting the thread. No coffee yet, seems Katherine doesn't have a coffee maker(good idea for Christmas present). Sunny this morning, with clouds coming later this morning,12 C high of 24 C . Today's agenda is to Visit Sarah's place, this morning, then I don't know what we will be doing. Tomorrow morning I will be heading back home, might take the scenic way through,(meaning the long way). Y'all have a good day G

Good morning and thank you for the morning start.

53 right now in Missoula Montana now going to 82 later in the day. But I won't be here as I will be down the road.

45 where I camped last night on LoLo Pass and it dropped to 36 coming down the mountain to Missoula.

Here is a picture of my camp spot last night and just a few of the wildlife out there.

Good morning, everyone. Thank Martin, for starting up the cafe.
I've been busy all weekend working on my Old truck, a 58 Chevy stepside shortbox with a 454 700 tranny. I will be hauling it down to Georgia soon. I sold my 34 Studebaker last year. Temps, here it's beautiful this morning, 59F will be warming up later on to 80F, sunshine day
Have a wonderful Monday to y'all!

Morning all! Sunny skies here with some high cirrus clouds. 18C right now with a high of 27C predicted.

I'm working from home as the new mattress gets delivered today and all the delivery company will promise is "by end of day". It's coming on a truck via the ferry from Surrey. We live near the ferry terminal, you'd think they could tell us that we'll be the first stop.

Nice car Obo, Scirocco? I remember a guy in high school having one and being the envy of the petrol heads. Looks like it's in pretty decent shape.

Hope everyone has a great day!

G'dafternoon from SoMD! It's a mild day today after a few days of afternoon storms. Finally clawing back up out of our drought, just a little. We'd need the same for a month straight to get back even, but the cooler days after a rain are always welcome. Coffee has been drunk, now to face the Monday we all feared since Friday ended. Thanks for the cups of courage, Martin!

Today is WFH for me then helping some more with a local theater troupe. Was at a different one yesterday gettting their lights set up. Now to do the same for another tonight. Then back to the first one tomorrow night. I wish they wouldn't open two shows on the same weekend! The day before, my daughter needed help with her car. 12V battery in her 2002 Prius wasn't charging and losing power. OBD said the inverter and its coolant pump were malfunctioning, Hopefully a new pump will fix it. It's only got 211k miles on it, but I'd rather pay for a pump than an inverter. Things eventually break ya'know?

Garage stuff will likely be on hold for the next day or so. Tomorrow should be a nice day to ride in to the office. Take care y'all!

@jdmccright I know some of the new cars need to have a new replacement battery programmed in before they will work / charge. Joys of the CANBUS system I guess.
Thankfully not this one. I'd already replaced the large battery a few years ago. No reprogramming/flashing needed.

Afternoon Martin & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 90F, up from 51F and heading for 92F. A slight breeze now, later the winds will be out of the NW @ 10 to 16mph.

This weekend was up to Northern Utah, overnight and back to Cedar City before Church started at 1:30PM, Sunday. Chris's Sister decided to have a "Retirement Party" for her husband, who worked for an Aerospace company for around 35 years and was given the choice to retire or get laid off. So that's why the quick trip. On our way back, we kept seeing clouds, and the closer we got to home, it started a light rain. Right after pulling into the garage, it came down pretty good. And the rain and a few sounds of thunder was off and on for several hours after. Overall we got .67" of rain. Which is good, but we still need a lot more, but that's it for this week.

And with all of my traveling over these last two weeks, I'm now fighting some crud. Woke up last night several time coughing and had to move to the sofa to keep from waking Chris up. :couch1:

Today, besides unloading the truck, I'll take Chris's Highlander down to get it washed. It's pretty dirty from the trip to the Volcano Caves from last week.

Breakfast has been had, almost lunchtime. Pepsi is already being had!

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Well we made it to the Birthday daughter's home, so finally got coffee, so yeah, got see Both daughters homes after God only knows how many years. Also Sarah treated us to homemade Chocolate chip cookies, dang best cookies in the world IMHO. Sil and I just got back from getting filtered Water. Now to plan which way to go home tomorrow. Safe riding y'all G
