My morning routine:
wake up
make coffee
stare into the void
recover slowly... :coffee:

G'Day...

17°/31°C... glaring haze, barely a cloud in sight... dry heat at 48% RH... ☀️

Nespresso (sans cat) at ze GF's... ☕

dull commute (despite holidays quite some traffic, but at least all is moving fluently with no gridlock...)

the mandatory Nescafé mug at the office <slurp>... ☕

fine tuned the planned routes for the oncoming weeks; used the TomTom online tool to sniff out potential road blocks,
construction or rush hour areas to avoid throughout all the countries/routes we're going to complete...

while heading to ze GF's in the evening the '00 ST fulfilled the 100K-miles...
nothing happened, it just rolled along, steady as she goes... 🤔

well, 3 +1/2 workdays to go... 😎

Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 71°F and wet in Rockville. Ran chances diminish sharply in the next hour, as the temperature rises toward the predicted high of 88.

Mrs. Fun arrived as expected yesterday afternoon. It's good to have her home but she's already looking ahead to next week and returning to PA for another stint at caring for her sister as she convalesces.

In the meantime I'm headed to Jersey City this afternoon, so as to be staged up for tomorrow's dash into Manhattan with my friend in order to retrieve his wife from Bellevue Hospital and bring her home to MD. She suffered a bad fall three weeks ago while they were visiting NYC, possibly due to her Parkinson's. Whatever the root cause, she's been hospitalized since then and will be released tomorrow morning. My friend can't drive so I'm playing taxi.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

It's clear and 64 with a bit of high haze, above. The temperature will rise to 83 with a slight chance of a shower.

I never made it to the gym, yesterday, but got to enjoy a visit from Joe and his family. We had a great time, but the grands kept us busy. Typical 1 and 3 year olds never stop moving and playing, and we were in the thick of it.
After they left, we dined at a local restaurant.

Today, I'll head over to the track in Thompson and flag for today's Club Day.
I don't know what we'll do for dinner, as tonight is Brenda's bowling night.

14˚c/57f, 25mph wind from northwest, sunny now, but it rained this morning.

We’re picking up Peter in a bit.
Later I have to prepare for tomorrows x-country drive to Oslo (7,5 hours).
Will stay for four nights, bringing some tools to fix things at my sons place.
And there’s actually summer in Oslo..:run1:

Morning all, do you still have the breakroom cabinet doors hidden Martin, or did you burn them as "someone" suggested?
Should be a quiet day, cut the sides and back yard yesterday.
No progress on the radiator fans, and still no drops of antifreeze visible anywhere.
40% chance for rain and storms again today... the heaviest supposed to be right at get-off-work time.
But they've been lying, for a week now. Meaning, if I roll the dice and trailer Kaiser to work... he'll get soaked on the way home, no doubt.
But if I leave him at home... you guessed it, it won't rain at all.
How do they get away with this foolishness?

Morning all! Sunny and blue skies here, 16C right now, 22C later.

Working from home.....just cuz. Well, and the faint hope that I can slap a bit more paint on the house with the time saved by not commuting. Not an ulterior motive per se.....more of an exterior one.

All this talk of cabinets, makes me want to shuffle......

Keith, you're a good man for helping out your friend.

More thunderstorms are expected today and possibly tomorrow. We'll see. :well1:

Currently it is 84F, heading to 90F. The winds have been blowing from the SSW, all morning, between 7 to 16mph. Later, They move to the WSW @ 12 to 14 mph.

Whatever hit me, hit me harder last night, so I'm feeling really great, NOT! :sick1: In a short bit, I'll be heading over to the local clinic, and see if have have any ideas what it is.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ, for the morning start. Pepsi(s) will be had later.
