Came home from Oslo late last night.
Nice drive.

Up early to pick up Peter today.
He will stay with us for a few days, until school starts on Thursday.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee Stu, and welcome home.

It's 73°F and mostly cloudy in Rockville, where the pavement and grass are still damp from yesterday's on-and-off showers. They may get additional watering today, but not until around 1700 hours or so, which is well after my morning round of Monday Old Guy Goof will have been completed.

I have my VPN set to use a server in Canada at the moment, so some of the ads Windows inserts into the weather app are coming through in French. Amusing...

Not a lot else going on. My blind friend and I went for lunch yesterday, and he gave me a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label as a final thank-you gift for my assistance last week. It may last a decade or more because a slowdown in my intake has created a substantial backlog of bottles of really good scotch on my shelf. At my present rate of consumption any given bottle might last a year.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

It's 65 with some rain showers , rising to 73 and becoming cloudy, later.

The birthday gathering for my aunt went off well, and we achieved the planned surprise. One of my other aunts showed up at 97! We spoke to cousins we haven't seen in years.

I mistakenly drank some white zinfandel , though, and am dealing with a gout flair, now.

Today , I'll head to the track and flag a motorcycle track day.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Stu! Bet you're glad to be home. Beautiful view in that pic!

The cooler weather was wonderful while it lasted, but alas, the heat and humidity are ramping up again. We kinda knew they would. We have overcast skies this morning with partly sunny conditions later and a low risk of thunderstorm later still. The current temp is a pleasant 20°C/68°F with a feels-like of 22°C/72°F, and the high will be 25°C/77°F with a much less pleasant humidex of 32°C/90°F.

@steve3b3: Sounds like a good time was had by all. Sorry about the gout flare-up, though, hope it subsides quickly!

Lots to do today, so I'd best be off. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Morning Stu & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 70F, heading for 89F. No breeze as of yet, although, later the winds will be out of the SW @ 13 to 23mph.Interesting that they are showing possible thunderstorms for today and tomorrow. We'll see! :well1:

I'm still not up to par, but getting there. So I'll putter around today and take care of a few things.

Chris won't be up for a while, so breakfast will have to wait. Plenty of Pepsis in the fridge, so they'll be cold when I'm ready for or two.
