Coffee and weather for a Thursday, 20 August

Good morning everyone

The carafe hold fresh-brewed Cubano roast from local-to-me coffee roaster Mayorga. It's hot, smooth, and tasty, and there's plenty to share. Queue up in an orderly fashion, please- no jostling, shoving in line, or throwing elbows.

It's 70°F and mostly cloudy in Rockville, and feels like yesterday's lower humidity level may have been just a one-day phenomenon. Indeed and forsooth, rain is expected, or at least possible, from 0600 to 0700 and again from 1500 to 2000 hours. The high of 86 will feel more like 96, apparently.

Mrs. Fun will head back to PA today for another stint at care-giving. Hopefully it'll be mostly for her sister and less for their aunt, but both need considerable care and assistance at this point.

I've got my usual Thursday afternoon ukulele group today, and online bridge with relatives this evening.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

The radiator fan switch arrived a day early, but I wasn't up to draining the radiator and installing it yesterday.
94° on the ride home, which was warm, not hot, while riding.
Really seems more like a Saturday morning job, to me.
Gonna leave y'all now, to keep my three-day early streak going.
Yesterday Roz told me she liked me getting home earlier in the evening.
Don't know why.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.
Our daughter in law, Christie, had a pot ready to go , and I'm enjoying that as well .

It's 59 in Wilsonville, Oregon this morning, rising to 93, later.
It'll be sunny all day.

Our trip out here went off well. Brenda booked us emergency exit seating for the leg room,,and we ended up in a row by ourselves, in spite of a fully booked plane.
Our son Jeff picked us up ,and we caught up on our various goings on.
The grandkids are getting big!

We crashed out earlier than usual , due to our 4:00am wakeup , and the bed tossed me out at 6:30.

We haven't got any plans for the next few days. Grandson Alex has summer camp until Friday, so we'll stay close.

I picked up a cough during the week that's irritating, as much for the cough as the effect on my bladder.
I've neglected my Achilles PT exercises, so I'll get back to that.

Morning Keith & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 72F, heading for 94F. There are a few scattered clouds here and there, but nothing that will stop the Sun from frying the place. Possible thunderstorms coming in tomorrow and the weekend, we'll see. No breeze yet, but later the winds will be from the WSW @ 12 to 14 MPH.

@steve3b3, glad to hear your trip is going well, enjoy Oregon!

Our trip down to ST George went well, for Costco, anyway! They emptied our pockets quite well!

Today, I'll be sorting the WeSTOC 30 shirts that we picked up yesterday while in ST George. I'm going to be staying inside for most of it, so that will give a good excuse to.

Once Chris wakes, we'll get some breakfast. Pepsi(s) on the menu for later.

Morning all! Sunny and blue skies here. 15C now, 26C for the ride home.

I got on the highway today to head to work and realized that I was feeling the breeze a bit more than usual. Sure enough, look down; forgot to don my airbag vest. Had to get off at the next exit and head back home to get it. I could have continued on to work but I feel naked without it....you know....except for the first couple of kms when I am unaware that doing my best emperor impression....

Good morning all!
Thanks for the start Keith! I’ll have a wee bit more of that Cubano coffee.
I’m resting up here on the shores of the Bay of Fundy.
The clock is ticking, I’m blasting out of here Saturday, hopefully driving through the night into Burlington. Getting a short rest there, then heading on up to the Bruce Peninsula.
Then, once I catch my breath, the move into the new place will officially begin.
