Looking for Brake system diagram ST1300A

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a complete overview of the brake lines and hoses of the ST1300A braking system, clearly showing the inlet and outlet connections of the various components.

The components I am referring to are the Delay Valve, PCV (Proportioning Control Valve), both ABS modulators, and the SMC (Secondary Master Cylinder).

A diagram showing the brake-line routing can be found here and looks very basic,1788195794988.png

but I have not been able to find an integrated diagram that also shows the actual locations of these components on the motorcycle.

What I am looking for is a single, comprehensive diagram showing all the brake lines and hoses, the inlet and outlet connections of each component, and the actual physical locations of the components on the ST1300A.
I would like to use such a diagram as a reference to better understand how the braking system works and to help me carry out maintenance and troubleshooting in a more targeted and systematic way.

So, is it safe to say you do NOT have the Honda Service Manual?
No judgement here, merely seeking clarification.
There are actual photographs of the components in the ST1300 Articles, usually associated with threads about bleeding the brakes.
Be sure to look there too, as some photos will offer more detail than the actual Service Manual..

I have, but also seeking for more detailed examples like photos indeed. The drawing in the manual is not showing all the individual piping separately. Thanks for your reply
 
I may be biased, but this article gives a much better explanation of how the brake system is plumbed. IT is aimed at bleeding the system, but that becomes easier if you understand what you are doing and why. This gives you that info. Download the pdf.

It does not mention the abs - as that sits in the lines just before the pistons.

I found that diagram was useful for showing the components - but no good for saying how the fluid manage to get through the SMC..

Thank you, I've already caught this one. Although ABS is missing, it still is a good explanation of how to bleed the system.
 
A quick search of the forum will reveal many brake bleeding procedures.
Fluid flows out the master cylinder into the various brake components and calipers.
If I recall but I may be thinking of the GL1800 manual but it shows you pics as well as location of the components.
