Clear Indicator Lenses, with switchback lighting

Ah, wish I'd thought of this before I sold my clears bc I wanted a clear rear lens too (I know, not available). My OCD thought it weird to have a clear front but a "normal" back.

Does the white turn off when you turn on the signal? That is my other pet peeve about today's vehicles with integrated switchbacks. Hard to see the blinking lights when the white runners are still on.

Yes, the white turns off on pressing signal button, and flashes amber, then returns to fixed white when turn signal is cancelled.

Just an F.Y.I. for anyone shopping for switchback LED's.
Many of them are available in two configurations. In one configuration the white turns off when the amber turn signal is activated. The other option is that the white stays on all of the time, even when the amber is flashing. Be aware of which option you are purchasing.

I managed to get hold of a pair of cl;ear lenses for front indicators from Ad Ploeg (Thank you!!) and a switchback led kit from eBay. This then functions as white running lights, and amber indicators. Perfect!WhatsApp Image 2025-10-25 at 09.43.43_9b3b3563.jpg

I've always like the head-on look of the ST100 over the 1300. The addition of the clear turn signal lenses really freshens it up. Ad did the bike a huge favor.

As with other ST owners here I'm old enough to remember when the "parking" or running lights of cars and their turn signals had clear lenses here in the US.. At some point amber/orange lenses became authorized. New. Improved. Modern. All true as far as I was concerned.

But old is new again — sometimes. I really like the clear lenses look on both bikes. However Ad seems to have done a far better job in execution of them for the 1100 than whomever was responsible for the 1300 version.
