I turned this on day 8 of the Iron Butt Rally earlier this month. I now have just shy of 355,000 miles on my 98 ST1100!

I was telling a non-riding friend about this and he wondered if you could give us a quick run-down on the repair history of the bike. Does it have the original engine? Has it been overhauled? Etc...

You put the exclamation point on my decision to buy my '98 as a reliable LD machine. Knowing I could get potentially another 310,000 miles out of her is a good feeling! Congrats on all your accomplishments!

CONGRATS to another faithful ST11 Owner!! Thats pretty quick to 300K!! NICE GOIN. Get that award and try for MORE. Took me 16+ yrs. to get just 200K, now at 227. 13s taking over, but 11s a great backup/spare. Keep going and again Congrats!!

Probably my biggest pet peeve with the 1300 is the fact that some moron decided to give the sixth digit on our odometers only two elements. Thus you will never see a 1300 display more than 199,999 miles. I guess I need to look at the bright side, it is easier to roll over than the 1100...
