No trickery in this photo - the driver really is horizontal
I did the same thing with the #2-75 driver. I ordered a stubby for my 'Wing buddy because he couldn't get to one screw on his bike's trunk. It fit like a glove and worked perfectly.

There's a site called something like Cruiseman's Garage showing several vids about working on mainly 'Wings. The production quality is good as are the videos. One thing that bugs me though is his repeated mention of 'Phillips' screwdrivers when removing bits from the bike. I'll have to be in dire straits to ever let a Phillips driver touch my bike again.

Got in gear for my 2nd check at 63k (first time at 40k and all were in). Funny thing is this time many haven't changed but half are LARGER!?
Specifically 3 intakes on the right head went from .007" to ,008" (now.001" over spec).
Worth pulling the cam?

Ended up re-torquing the cams (they were not loose, but nudged each about 1/16th turn) and ratcheted the crank around again and rechecked...
All were "in spec" this time.
