About 1.5 hour ride from Las Vegas. Campsites can not be reserved but on 17 March 2017 there were a lot available. Great place for breakfast and there is a well equipped store. Small hotel is also on site. www.cottonwoodcoveresort.com. BTW - this is a fee area - Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
