Are there 2 of them? This weeks PGA tournament is in Austin, next to the Colorado River. I followed it on Google maps and it appears to begin out in west Texas. Appears to have nothing to do with the Colorado River we all know that starts way up in Colorado and ends in the Gulf of California (where there also seems to be 2 CO Rivers.

2 of them? Yes. If you ever get a chance to be between Goldwaite and San Saba, Texas, take FM500 to the Regency Bridge. It is the last one lane suspension bridge that you can still drive across in Texas. And it crosses the Coloradon River. The one on in Texas.

Road down there earlier this year and was really neat.

As already stated in previous replies, there is the Colorado River that we all know that flows through the Grand Canyon, and the one in TX. As far as I can determine there is only one CO river in the Western US, that flows into Mexico

Our Colorado River starts out near Lamesa, Texas. All this two rivers same name stuff was very confusing to me when I was a pup.

Now you have me confused again, but I accustomed to it now.
Coop,
Even though edumacating a Texan is usually a waste of time, so you don't have to google, :

The Rubicon is a shallow river in northeastern Italy. The same name was given to a river that was famously crossed by Julius Caesar in 49 BC starting the Great Roman Civil War (49–45 BC). While it has not been proven, some historians agree that the two rivers are indeed one and the same.

It also is a river in California near Tahoe, not to be confused with a Jeep :D.

Careful there! I might just show up sometime. Are you still shorting Harley and buying Beemers with the profit?

I wish this thread would have been current a few months earlier. I was trying to figure out where that bridge was because the most I could remember was that I read about it here and wanted to ride across it sometime.

I can't find the Texas Rubicon river anywhere on my googler. Back to square 2....

Edit additions. 81 miles from Ranchstoc, day ride Tom and Billy?

19 miles east of Goldwaite on 574 then south 4 miles to the bridge on 433 (dirt).

Day ride from Ranchstoc in the works.

The headwaters are near Lamesa. Maybe y'all named your state after our river.

That river in Colorado was the Grand River until 1921. You know the one that goes through the Grand Canyon,
